Review of Jacob's Ladder (1942) by David F — 14 Nov 2012
An arty psychological thriller which is hard to summarize without giving away the ending. Suffice to say, we see Jacob Singer involved in a tragic situation in Vietnam, followed by his confused later existence in New York City.
He meets up with old soldier buddies as they believe they were the subjects of a secret drug trial in the war. Confusing at times, with some very Pink Floyd - The Wall-like effects, at the end I felt slightly let down.
