Review of Jackpot (2012) by Richard S — 18 Jan 2013

This is the second film I've seen taken from a Jo Nesbo story and I still don't quite get them. The characters are usually quite strange and they find themselves in ridiculous situations which are usually quite funny but events also revolve around a serious crime story.

I've never been sure if they are intentionally funny or it's just something that's been lost in translation. Anyhow, this wasn't quite as entertaining as the other Nesbo story I saw last year which was Headhunters but it was worth a one off watch.
