This one isn't as amped up as the rest of his movies, but I can assure you, it does not suck. This is a homage to blaxploitation films, so the plot is similar to that of blaxploitation films from the 70's.

It's not too complex and pretty easy to follow, and would even be dull if we didn't have the great performances and Tarantino's style involved. Samuel L. Jackson, Pam Grier, and Robert Forester all give outstanding performances that simply can't go unnoticed, the soundtrack is groovy as hell, and there are some beautiful scenes that stick in your mind long after the movie is over.

I was looking forward to some violence in this one, since violence is a Tarantino trademark, but the body count was only three. This film has such a unique feel to it that the violence is not needed to make this a good film.

The dialogue, as always, is fantastic as well. Definitely watch this one, it is unfairly underrated and shows that Quentin can make all kinds of films.
