Review of Jackie Brown (1997) by Noah Abraham G — 12 Oct 2013
An interesting change of pace for its writer/director, "Jackie Brown" can be best described as "Tarantino-lite"- It's got a lot of good performances and a compelling plot, but it lacks the truly memorable characters or sparkling dialogue that Tarantino is known for.
Worse still, it suffers from the same pacing issues that affect all his movies, but this movie seems to drag on significantly worse. It's worth a watch, but it's far from Tarantino's best.
