Review of Jackie Brown (1997) by Eugene G — 11 Jan 2012
Jackie Brown was a film that I wasn't just bowled over with when I first watched it in the theater a hundred years ago, so finally giving it another day on court on Blu-ray seems long overdue.
I can say that this film has grown on me by leaps and bounds, as the heist bit at the end kinda wore me out the first time around but now pleases me immensely. I'm happy to have this to re-visit at this stage, as it feels like having a new film to enjoy since I haven't re-watched it quite so often as I have the rest of Tarantino's catalog.
Well worth a look, recommended.
