So Mr.Tarantino loves to pay tribute to his influences with his own original film and him casting one of them and quote him"the first female action star" Pam Grier was just the start. If your a fan of Pam Griers early work you sure will have the biggest but very creepy grin on your face by the time the film finishes.

The already mentioned plays the lead Jackiee Brown a flight attendant working for a small aka crappy airline as a flight attendant (her work attire is only the first of two badass outfits, the other being the coolest suit ever made for a woman) who doesnt quite make bank and ends up getting the chance to in a what can be confusing cat and mouse game.

Quentin being a legend for using the greatest songs for the greatest moments in his films stunningly, honestly did overkill in this one. Dont get me wrong I love the way he puts together the soundtrack, but it felt a bit to cocky when the R&B and soul songs were put in use,the songs used are great songs but you can tell he was trying to have them nudged in as if in the film they would have an important use(Reservoir Dogs=joe texs I gotcha,Pulp Fiction=chuck berrys you can never tell to name a few put in good use)but besides that this film should be hailed as a cult film that couldnt have been done without other cult films.

So I recommend this film to anyone who google images Ordell's hairstyle or hairstyle on the face or his lovely pothead whore Melanie cuz that alone will get you hooked.
