Review of Jackie Brown (1997) by Baurushan J — 01 Dec 2013

I don't know why but this is the Tarantino-directed film that I like the least. Don't get me wrong though this movie was badass but when I compare this to all his other films like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs and Death Proof, they all look way more better than this.

I don't remember much from this badassly complex adaptation but I sure do remember all the iconic characters like Ordell Robbie played by Samuel L.Jackson who would say nigger in just almost every single line, ATF agent Ray Nicolette played by Batman himself Michael Keaton, Pam Grier as the unstoppable title character Jackie Brown, the annoying whiny-voiced Chris Tucker as Beaumont Livingston who I wished I saw more of but at least he got limited screen time and dialogue, Louis Gara played by the always amazing Robert De Niro and the stripping beach-babe Melanie played by Bridget Fonda.

These are just the examples of the characters in this overstuffed jetpack as there's more to look forward to. Jackie Brown get's a 9.7/10.
