Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown is the only film which is based upon another material than his own brain. It's based upon Elmore Leonard's novel Rum Punch. He also gave us Out of Sight and Get Shorty which both have become great heist movies. But Jackie Brown is the crown jewel, with great use of dialogue and a great undertone and cemetery between the characters. I sometimes wonder how it would have been like if Tarantino's movies would have been like if he continued to adapt novel. He would certainly be very good at it, since he has proven multiple times that dialogue are his strong side in film making.

Jackie Brown is the story about the fly attendant, Jackie Brown (Pam Grier) who's besides that smuggles money and drugs. But one day she's caught by the police, and is sentenced to jail, but her employer, Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson).
