Review of Jackie & Ryan (2014) by Bonnie Z — 02 Jan 2016

I liked it. Not because it's the greatest film out there but because it inspired me. I started feeling like maybe I should find an outlet for my singing or take up the guitar. It reminded me of how wonderful music really is.

In the film itself, you had to take some leaps to believe the coincidences that draw Jackie and Ryan together but that was OK with me. I was willing to forgive that for the tenderness and warmth of the film and settings were always interesting.
