Review of Jackie (2016) by Paula O — 28 Dec 2016
Natalie Portman's upper crust Bostonian accent failed sometimes. Not sure that I liked how coolly she played Jackie Kennedy O. But it was an interesting perspective into what Jackie O might have been feeling and going through in the days leading up to JFKs assasination. Very stylized and the music was harsh, cacophonous, but perfect for the film.
Peter Sarsgaard as RFK was a little disconcerting because I am used to him playing evil characters and the way he blurs or deadens his eyes in his acting was reminiscent of how he does it when plays evil characters.
