This one's not going to be for everyone, but I definitely enjoyed it. Jackie is about Jackie Kennedy (Natalie Portman) during the days following her husband, John F. Kennedy's (Caspar Phillipson) assassination.
The film follows her during this super troubling time and features her interactions with her brother in law Bobby (Peter Sarsgaard) and other White House officials. You need to know a little about Jackie Kennedy to really grasp the movie.
Jackie Kennedy was always known her poise and bringing about a lot of dignity and tradition to the White House. This shows her behind the scenes and how very scared she was during the events that take place.
We get a much more human side to her other than a pretty face and someone who was a trend setter. Portman does a fantastic job here and really brings out the spirit of Jackie. I would definitely recommend giving this one a look it was a lot better than I thought it would be!
