Review of Jackie (2016) by The D — 08 Jan 2017

I'm old enough to remember this time in history and Jackie herself. I'm not sure if this is anywhere near an accurate portrayal of her whatsoever. The film is edited so disjointedly that it detracts big time from the message.

I'm sure it's intended to reflect Jackie's personality itself, however it has the effect of being quite annoying to the audience. Again, it smacks of rewriting history - not in the facts or events, but in the character of Jackie.

When the movie ends one is left wondering what the point of this was, and whether or not one just witnessed Jackie's character assassination along with JFK's real assassination as well?
