I have no idea why this film gets rave reviews. It's slow and dull as nothing really happens and you don't connect with Natalie Portman as Jackie at all. The entire film fails to elicit any emotional response and so little is explored about Jackie's life after JFK's death.
Portman is not at all convincing as Jackie and her accent is obviously put on and very grating. Lots of pointless long scenes where very little happens. I couldn't wait for it to end.
