Review of Jackie (2016) by Ed L — 28 Feb 2017
Rarely has there been less said about a more interesting woman than with this movie. Jackie spends all its time within about a month window after the assassination of her husband. Not a bit about the Prince who loved her and the billionaire Greek that married her.
It comes across as an acting vehicle for Natalie Portman, with an inordinate focus on her television special detailing the remodeling of the White House. The motorcade scene is spread throughout the film in order to keep the viewer engaged, but with this one, it didn't work.
