Saw this movie earlier today. Really harrowing movie about the ordeal of Jackie O post assassination and her fight to make the JFK legacy a lasting one in a American history. Natalie Portman is brilliant as Jackie and plays the distraught Jackie after assassination very effectively all confused yet clear on how she wants the world to view the Kennedy legacy. Some scenes were quite harrowing especially the ones where she is trying to explain the reality to the young Carolina and John John where Daddy is.
If you are a buff of Kennedy era and Camelot, this is a must see movie. Natalie Portman is headed for the nomination with her performance.
RIP Jackie O. America will always remember #35 and Camelot however brief it was in American history as one of the best.
Especially the kind of Rodeo clowns and Orange buffoons we elect to lead us these days, JFK legacy will be safe and sound for a very long time.
