Review of Jackie (2016) by Bill T — 15 Nov 2017

Very good, and somewhat surprising look into the world of Jackie Kennedy and the days right after John F Kennedy was shot. Natalie Portman nails this portrayal right on the head, and she's dazzling to look at.

I liked the mixture of recreated and archival footage in the film, and the music score was amazing. interesting that the whole funeral procession was thought to be, at least in this film, a great publicity stunt and quite a huge security risk.

the film does lag in a few places though.
