Review of Jackass: The Movie (2002) by Tyler S — 31 Jan 2013
The movie makes me want to vomit, in a good way. Out of the Jackass trilogy this is by far the best.
The movie is simply comprised of the stars from the T.V. show such as Johnny Knoxville, Bam Magera, and Ryan Dunn doing stupid stunts that almost never succeed and pranks around the world.
The pranks in the movie are some of the funniest iv'e ever scene. From getting slathered in heavy make up and looking like a bunch of old people, just to pretend that they're electric scooter is out of control to going into a destruction derby with a rental car you'll laugh all the way. The other side of Jackass, the stupid stunts can be from funny to just plain gross to anyone with a brain cell. The funny ones, such as crossing a exhibit full of alligators on a type rope with a diaper full of meat is hilarious while most won't find humor in the boys paper cutting the webs of their fingers. The boys also make hilarious comments on their own and are constantly pranking each other.
Overall the movie will either keep you laughing or just gross you the hell out. For me it did both a good watch for anyone that doesn't get queasy.
