Review of Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013) by Jc E — 17 Feb 2014
What good can come from the Jackass guys? Well, this flick is certainly a step in a, well, different direction. Not really sure if it's a good or bad thing, but a narrative was an interesting turn.
And having Johnny Knoxville (Movie 43) in old man makeup was actually pretty convincing. There were some sketches that you could tell he and young Jackson Nicoll cracked, but so many of them play out with such ridiculousness that you can't really help but laugh.
It's actually got surprising heart given that it's an MTV brainchild. That said, it's profane, vile, rude, and irreverent. But you expected that.
