Even though not as funny as it could be, Bad Grandpa does make a effort to take its skit material into a somewhat of a heartfelt story. With a few cliches here and there Bad Grandpa does still offer viewers some witty laughs as well as the pleasure of seeing old Johnny Knoxville in action again.
