Review of Jackass Number Two (2006) by David B — 14 May 2012
Jackass: Number Two aims low and hits lower, but is as hilarious and uncomfortable an encounter as possible. It's hard to like Jackass these days, but it's impossible to hate it either. It felt like they were desperate to get some low-brow laughs and some worked but some didn't.
It didn't seem to have the charm like the first movie did and the shaky hand-held camera was getting a little annoying and boring. Still, it's amazing that they carried off these crazy stunts and fair play to them, you'd think you'd get fed up.
..but you don't. I do like this sort of thing but it's nothing that YouTube doesn't show. Lost it's original appeal but still a good watch. But I feel the TV programme is better than this.
