Review of Jack the Giant Slayer (2013) by Robert G — 18 Sep 2013

I really like the director of this film. Bryan Singer. He has made some great movies such as X-man 1 & 2 and Valkrie. But I was not to interested in this one when I heard about it, I did not see it in theaters and the sub par ratings kept me from buying the movie when it came out.

I was sent the movie from WB to review it and so I did. I actually kind of enjoyed it. It is nothing special, but a fun adventure fairy tale movie. I like Nicholas Hoult who I thought did a good job as did newcomer Eleanor Tomlinson.

I recommend giving this movie a shot, I think it is a very good popcorn movie.
