It was fun. It's too scary for kids, but a little childish for grown-ups...so perfect for me in certain moods! I like Nicholas Hoult, Ewan McGregor is great, Stanley Tucci is a laugh, Ian McShane is under-used but still nice to see him. Also Ewan Bremner and Eddie Marsan in support roles. The princess actress was a little stiff, but there's good chemistry between Hoult and McGregor. Bill Nighy voices the head of the giants.
