Jack and the beanstalk is the last fairy tale you'll think wouldn't turn into a big high budget flop. Well, your right. Jack and the giant slayer is one solid fairy tale film that's both stupid and fun.
While the writing needs to boost up 95% of the time, the giants CGI where lame, but it did had some nice acting, solid direction and takes the fairly tale into a new level. I'll say this one is a rent.
Not one you'll watch over and over, but one that you might cheek out.
