To put it simply, Jack the Giant Slayer is a funny, action-filled, fast-paced movie with a fairly interesting plot. It's definitely enjoyable, but isn't exactly very well written, it is written OK though.
The movie occasionally drifts from it's plot and gets boring at times, this lowers it's score, also, the acting wasn't the best, as well as that it was incredibly cheesy at times. So I give this film a.
