Enjoyable fantasy by Director Bryan Singer is exciting in parts, but has a visual style and art direction that is too pedestrian. Blame it on Singer, who is really good at getting fantastic stuffs grounded, be it in his X-Men saga or in Superman Returns.
Not so good for what is essentially a fantasy film. But still, Ewan McGregor did pretty well as supporting role from Stanley Tucci.
