I liked this movie and it would seem that I am in the minority. I would have liked to explore more of the giant's realm. Also, the giants were too easily defeated to have been perceived as a monumental threat.
I thought the acting of Stanley Tucci was good as well as Bill Nighy's hardened & cruel voice of the head giant. Overall, it was an interesting interpretation of Jack & the Beanstalk and also Jack the Giant Killer.
The movie left me wanting to see more giants.
