(2013) Jack The Giant Slayer.

FANTASY.

If you seen and liked "Mickey And The Beanstock", "Bugs Bunny's version of Jack And the Beanstock" and "The Lord Of the Rings" trilogy then this film is pure crap since there's not one scene on here you can't see it better from somewhere else. Directed by Bryan Singer of many CGI movies including the X-Men. The movie stars Nicholas Hoult playing the character Jack unsuccessfully retrieving a single bean given to him by a monk who was running away from an evil, conniving heir set to be married to a young princess he's not even in love with. One of the major problems I had is that there was an instance where it wasn't explained to the audience very well, for example although they're many scary looking giants and each one of them are all named either "Fee", "Fi", "Fo", "Fum" like how can one giant named Fee be able to tell from another giant also called "Fee" or three other giants also named "Fee" for the movie never explains leaving viewers to make up their own assumptions. Also, this movie looked like it was two movies and not one but because they couldn't thought up enough material to call it a 2 hour film, it almost seemed like some of the scenes were added in that shouldn't have been in the film in the first place but were left with no choice because films in general are supposed to be two hours.

2 out of 4 stars.
