Review of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014) by Claire L — 24 May 2014

I sure hope this doesn't get a sequel, because it pretty much sucks. It's a copy of better movies with the same theme, only the propaganda is way more obvious. A spook called Jack (how original) is sent to Moscow (again, very original) to prevent some big plot, bla bla bla, explosions.

What bothered me a lot about the character is that they couldn't seem to make up their mind about his role. Is he the brain or is he the brawn? Making him be both made the movie just extra silly. Oh and Keira Knightley is just not pretty.
