"Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" modernizes the Tom Clancy character to the post 9/11 era with surprising 1990's style political thriller that is just like the other politicial thrillers that try to revive the cold war espionage spy genre & failing to do so.
"Patriot Games" being one of my favourite movies, it was shame to see this one head to the overused "for motharrussia" type of villains, the nick of time breaking & entering situations and of course there's a bomb as well in the mix.
Shameful 90's era rehashing , boo.
