Review of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014) by William L — 15 Jun 2014

I enjoyed the plot of this film and the villain choice in Kenneth Branagh. Overall the movie was enjoyable. Although the film is entertaining there were a of couple things that down played the level of believability.

There was a moment that was reminiscent of a Sherlock Holmes film that was a little too over the top. Secondly, there was a lack of chemistry between the protagonist and his fiance. Chris Pine and Keira Knightley deliver good performances, however they just don't mesh well on screen.
