Smart casting, (using Costner as a supporting character was a genius move), superb performances and deft direction from the fantastic Branagh, (who gives a menacing, yet accessible performance), raise the Tom Clancy franchise to a new level.
Clancy's cliched work doesn't deserve this much talent, but hey, it got it, and the result is fantastically entertaining.
