I'm a huge fan of Chris Pine and was excited to see him take over as Jack Ryan. I honestly don't think he was the issue here...it was...the whole movie. It lacked the "smarts" we saw in Red October and was turned into a run of the mill spy caper.
...and not a vey gopd one. I hope Chris gets another opportunity for this role....but I doubt it.
