Review of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014) by Yousif V — 28 Sep 2015
Jack Ryan started out a little slow but once things hit their peak, it turned out to be a very entertaining movie. I was a little worried at first because Jack was just an undercover wall street analysis and it seemed like there was no action or excitement in sight.
It hit its stride toward the later half of the movie and then the movie got good. There were some good chase scenes as well as hand to hand combat fights and a very thrilling tense "hack the computer before they find out" segment.
Keira Knightley was a great addition to the film and they focused a good amount on her which helped split up the film nicely. It was not as great as the Bourne franchise but Jack Ryan provided enough to make this one worth watching.
I just do not know if it has enough to turn it into a multi film series but we will see.
