Review of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) by Roger T — 24 Oct 2016
I was certainly interested in going back to the Reacher franchise, as the first cinematic outing was refreshing and thrilling. The follow-up attempts to replicate these characteristics, but unfortunately it doesn't sustain or transcend to anything memorable.
It is entertaining and Cruise is always charismatic and commanding, but plot-holes and a lack of originality in screen direction makes it rather forgettable and uninspired.
