Review of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) by Donald W — 29 Oct 2016
Ouch. Really hoping for intrigue, plot twists, and a bit of the old, "Who done it?" ... but only got a gutted version of the first movie. I understand Cruz' character is supposed to be highly trained and in control, but in this one he is simply muted and one dimensional.
And the perspective taken on "feminist" theme made Smulders character look foolish, not wise. Playing it off as she is "military-trained" became silly in some situations.
Shouldn't have killed off The Zec in episode 1.
