We saw it and are still perplexed about the story line? The story within the story line to be exact...The insert about the young girl seemed like an after thought to make the Reacher character seem what.

..more soft, more human? We have no idea, but for us it spoiled the movie and took away from the original Reacher character and we were happy when it ended.
