Review of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) by Jaime R — 09 Nov 2016
Average and predictable piece offers no surprises - lots of beatings, confined timelines, dire ends, government conspiracies. Cruise shows his age in a thickened middle and not-so-complimentary shirtless spot that deserved a body double.
Regardless, Cruise did a decent job acting the part, and the supporting cast was adequate. Better than the first in the installment, and better than the reviews, but still not worth a trip to the theater.
