Exactly what I wanted to see - action and intensity. While, I was initially bothered by the fact that Tom Cruise in no way resembles the Jack Reacher in the books, he is perfect in his level of intensity.
This isn't a high browed deep thinker. It is a solid action thriller with excellent acting. Stop looking for reality in these movies.
