The first Jack Reacher movie was surprisingly good. Unfortunately this follow isn't. Cruise just didn't have the material to work with to save this. Supporting cast were non entities, villains were cardboard cutouts with zero menace and the script adaptation was poor .
Blame must be laid at the directors door. Can't remember a Tom Cruise movie as poor. I was drifting off to sleep at the end.
