I honestly don't know what movie the critics who are giving this film went to see, or what movie they were expecting when they went to see it, but this was a very solid, great action film.

If you enjoy edge of your seat suspense coupled with an intelligent story complete with drama, intrigue and elements of emotion, this film is for you.

If you also just happen to be on of the 100 million plus readers of the Jack Reacher novels, you'll find this story captures the tone of those novels perfectly. It's a typical Jack Reacher tale, and Tom Cruise and the rest of the cast and director pull it off flawlessly.
