Review of Jack Reacher (2012) by Roxanne R — 09 Jan 2014
When you want things done right and justice swiftly served you ask for one name: Jack Reacher. This is not a overblown action packed film; instead it flows like a good novel, a thriller about a man named Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) called upon by a sniper charged with killing five people in daylight at a park.
The case seems like a slam-dunk with plenty of evidence against the sniper. When the defense attorney Helen (Rosamund Pike) joins forces with Reacher, some things are uncovered moving the case from slam-dunk to a frame.
Good acting by all and the writing was impressive so kudos to Christopher McQuarrie because not only he wrote the script but directed the film. If only I could be so lucky to have a friend like Jack Reacher- he not only is a good friend but makes you feel very safe in his company.
Available on Netflix instant streaming so enjoy it!
