Review of Jack Reacher (2012) by Connor F — 30 Mar 2014

Jack reacher has something other action thrillers of recent times lack in. They seem to be all about a big star beating up terrorists. Jack Reacher has it's fair share of people being beaten up, but it is also intelligent and the intensity is real rather than generic. The plot is actually interesting. Nowadays it's all big machine guns on Russian terrorists trying to activate a nuke. Jack Reacher in comparison has a plot rather toned down but is still intense and interesting.

Yes it is a bit long and it's a bit of a drag towards the end, but it is rare when a new action movie comes this close to greatness. If it's more of the same, bring on the sequels!
