Review of Jack Reacher (2012) by Kathleen G — 24 May 2014

Most of what I saw in the movie was pretty standard fare, and while it was well done, it was a bit boring at times. Cruise was good as Reacher. Rosamund Pike I wish didn't always look like she was shocked/horrified/bulging eyes.

This movie didn't elevate itself much above other good dramas except that it should have. The story got tied up in mire a bit, could have trimmed some excess footage down under two hours and that would have tightened it up.

I got impatient and in this kind of story, that shouldn't happen. This should have kept me engaged throughout, the story was good enough to have kept me on the edge of my seat.
