More of a portrait than a thesis. One that manages to achieve deep, captivating textures with relatively subtle, minimal strokes. Hoffman is very interesting to me, in that he is the most consistent "A-lister" I know at taking part in high quality projects.
I wanted to see how much this would spill over into his directing. The answer I got from this is: plenty.
