Review of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2007) by Matt B — 23 Jun 2009
Trevor Matthews shows the confidence of a great actor, and playing alongside a legend like Robert Englund should be the setup for a spectacular movie... not so.
After an hour of ridiculous antics ranging from meaningless anger management courses to an extremely annoying girlfriend, the movie that was advertised and you wanted to see starts and ends within 20 minutes. though the fight was spectacularly gory, riveling the SAW films in horror, it was way too short to warrant such a boring intro.
