If you go into this thinking of it as an "homage/spoof" of every bad horror films from the 80's...then you might enjoy this.
The premise is fun but (intentional or not) the bad acting and cheesy special effects go from "kitchy fun" to annoying, fairly quickly.
Really makes you appreciate the introduction of CGI into film, which (when done properly) can do wonders for a film.
