Review of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2007) by Noel B — 08 Jul 2009

Kind of reminds me of a bruce campbell flick, but the main character isn't cool and smooth like bruce campbell. instead, he's filled with rage and self doubt. not as gore filled as I expected, with a very long buildup till some action really happens.

it almost feels like they wrote a huge setup and then got bored and wrote two more pages of the screenplay and said the end.
