Review of Jack & Sarah (1995) by Gary S — 17 May 2008
Classic British comedy drama with some delightful performances from an endearing English cast. Not really a comedy, but the dramatic/romantic moments are captivating. Special mention must go to Ian McKellen for his hilarious portrayal of William the drunkard, and the always glorious Judy Dench.
Scary, accurate, funny (occasionally) and heartbreaking. A Brit classic that is nice to revisit once in a while. Who doesn't love babies anyway?
