Review of Jack and Jill (2011) by Sean S — 13 Aug 2012
And a two-star rating is probably being kind. While not wholly terrible, it is annoying, and very unredeeming. There is little to enjoy about this sub-par Adam Sandler offering, and it relies on stereotypes and remarks from characters with stereotypical beliefs to masquerade as its humour.
This kind of shtick has been done before, but better, and this is largely unnecessary. Al Pacino is odd in his role, and Katie Holmes seems all too willing to go along with the weak premise.
