Congratulations to this film for winning all the Razzie awards. For a movie that's been hugely criticised, I thought it can't be that bad, and considering it made well over $100,000,000 at the box office it's fair to say audiences do go and see Adam Sandler movies, so I went to the cinema and watched it.

Being an Adam Sandler fan I was looking forward to it although he doesn't exactly have consistency, but I was pleasantly surprised as I enjoyed Jack And Jill and so did my younger Brother. If you can get past the annoying accent from Jill and some of the silliness this is actually a funny comedy with Sandler playing his typical role, a rich man in a well paid job with a hot wife.

Except he's also playing his twin sister Jill, with outrageous and rather amusing results. Katie Holmes is underused, she's just there for a bit of eye candy but I'm not complaining. Al Pacino's role is often funny but it feels like his part is forced into every scene, it is certainly a change from his Scarface days, although that is referenced many times in this movie.

Jack And Jill has many few flaws from some awkward moments and corny writing but in nearly every scene there is a funny moment! It's a brightly coloured and light hearted comedy with nutty characters, smart one liners and a truck load of slapstick comedy.

I liked Jack & Jill even if it is an embarrassing career role for Sandler, and a critic's punchbag.
